For the last 20+ years, Captain Ben Sharpe has been fishing the waters of South Florida, the Bahamas and the East Coast. From Cape Cod all the way down to Key West, Captain Sharpe has experience fishing the various fisheries America has to offer.

For the last 15 years, Captain Sharpe, an avid tournament fisherman has successfully navigated the South Florida sailfishing scene. Below is a list of finishes Capt Sharpe has accomplished.

Predating his time as a Captain, Capt Ben was in the Navy and got the opportunity to fish the world at the same time. His experience has brought him from the Atlantic to the Pacific and Indian Oceans. His list of fishing accomplishments include numerous Blue Marlin, Giant tuna and various pelagic encounters.

The Sea Major is Captain Sharpe’s 28′ Whitewater center console fishing boat. This beautiful boat is powered by twin 150 hp Yamaha Outboard engines. You will find everything you need on board to enjoy your fishing excursion in style. In fact, when it comes to necessary items you will only need to bring a few things.

All equipment is provided, free of charge when you fish with Captain Sharpe. However, if you are experienced and have your own rod that you would like to bring, we encourages you to do so. The following items are recommended by Captain Sharpe when embarking on a fishing trip on the Outcast.

Sea Major is a 28′ Whitewater custom built in Miami. It is a legendary Key West workhorse for many guides. This hull has proven the test of time and will safely get you wherever the fish are.

The Sea Major has a 24-degree deep V hull, 4 full length stringer system provides a comfortable, dry ride running in the roughest of seas. Sea Major has a custom made tee top to provide shade, and a huge in deck live well to hold lots of live bait.

The Sea Major rides smooth and cuts the waves like a knife. Sea Major is powered by twin 150 hp Yamaha four strokes. There is plenty of room for everyone to fish and tons of storage to keep your fish. Seating, and shade is provided by the Key West style T-Top. And for your comfort, there’s a nice clean bathroom on board too. As far as electronics go they include: Furuno 10 inch color Bottom Machine, Furuno GP 31 GPS, 10 inch Garmin color chart plotter, 2 vhf radios, CD player, & cell phone.
